We’re looking for a talented Sound Engineer to join our team and help us create amazing audio experiences for our customers. As a Sound Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for designing, creating, and implementing sound for our products. Sound Engineer Duties:

  • Lead the efforts for making technical decisions that directly and indirectly influence the quality of the final mix.
  • Create a systematized approach to quality assuring consistency
  • Provide direction to technicians and supervisors, follow up on project status, resolve problems, and ensure timely completion
  • Utilize tools and software to generate reports
  • Maintain the effective use of equipment
  • Maintain technical knowledge of the sound industry through regular attendance at seminars, classes, and conferences

Sound Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Serve as in-house sound engineer, playing active roles in local bands, managing technical aspects of recording, mixing, and mastering music, creating labels, and having original music professionally represented
  • Promote the artist’s musical career through industry connections and social networking
  • Train, mentor, and manage team members
  • Create and maintain web-based sound engineering resources to promote industry growth
  • Develop and expand the company’s sound library
  • Conduct music research, create music-related reports, and compile music for media
  • Promote creative and technical solutions

Requirements And Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in sound engineering, music, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in the sound engineering field
  • Strong knowledge of sound engineering and mixing
  • Knowledge of studio equipment
  • Strong knowledge of studio recording, mixing and mastering techniques
