Job Brief:

We're looking for a Spanish Teacher to teach a group of students who are interested in learning the language. The teacher should be able to provide a fun and interactive environment in which the students can learn.

Spanish Teacher Duties:

  • Plan, prepare, deliver, and evaluate instruction to students with diverse learning styles and needs, using a variety of innovative instructional methods
  • Promote student acquisition of skills and content knowledge
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Plan, assign, and evaluate student work
  • Analyze student progress and performance to identify learning needs
  • Provide oral and written feedback to students and coworkers

Spanish Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop, and assess curricula and instructional materials designed to teach Spanish to students in primary and secondary schools
  • Communicate with parents and employers, evaluate students' performance, and advise school administration on educational issues
  • Communicate with parents, students, colleagues, and employers to facilitate their comprehension of the learning goals, and determine if additional instruction is required
  • Maintain accurate records of student data, including grades, attendance, and disciplinary incidents
  • Recruit, interview, and place substitute teachers
  • Plan, present, and assess classroom instruction for Spanish classes
  • Evaluate students' work, diagnose areas for improvement, and provide appropriate remedial instruction
  • Maintain accurate records including student names, addresses, and grades
  • Responsible for student discipline and attendance
  • Assist with maintaining records, including enrollment and attendance
