As a Statistical Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing data to help us understand trends and make better decisions. Statistical Analyst Duties:

  • Assist in the development of company financial forecasts
  • Analyze and interpret accounting data to make strategic business decisions
  • Perform or assist with detailed financial analyses and projections, including profitability, stability, and risk
  • Develop and recommend strategies for improving profit margins and cash flow
  • Develop financial models, commission rate schedules, and models for assessing risk
  • Perform monthly and quarterly reviews of financial analyses and projections for detailed review and adjustment
  • Teach and mentor other company employees on financial processes and company policies

Statistical Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Oversee data collection, design, and analysis for projects, including field and laboratory experiments and surveys
  • Assist with writing reports, training other analysts, and interpreting and presenting data to upper management
  • Manage and prepare data for statistical analysis using statistical software
  • Provide support with other analytical tasks, including experimental design and management, statistical control, sampling techniques, and statistical analysis
  • Understand and apply relevant statistical methods such as hypothesis testing, sampling techniques, and statistical control
  • Develop statistical analysis plans and procedures, including sampling techniques and designs, and statistical control
  • Perform statistical analysis and monitoring of project data
  • Assist with preparing presentations for upper management
  • Identify opportunities for project improvement
