  • Help support technical publications using social media platforms
  • Work with technical writers to edit technical documents, including manuals, procedure manuals, and program documentation

Steel Fixer Responsibilities:

  • Orient, erect, and complete structural steel
  • Perform pre-fabrication and erection of structural steel and concrete forms
  • Perform field welding
  • Perform formwork and rebar tying
  • Perform weld inspection, testing, and documentation
  • Perform layout, fabrication, and welding of structural steel, bridges, vessels, and machines
  • Assist in prefabrication of concrete
  • Perform material storage loading and stock out procedures
  • Perform minor welding on miscellaneous concrete and steel products

Requirements And Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
  • 2+ years’ proven experience in structural steel fabrication, erection, and inspection
  • Knowledge of welding processes and welding inspection methods
  • Knowledge of building and steel codes
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
