We are looking for a Surgical Nurse to join our team and provide care for our patients. As a Surgical Nurse, you will be responsible for preoperative and postoperative care, as well as caring for patients during their surgery. You will work closely with the surgeon and other members of the surgical team to ensure that the patient receives the best possible care. Surgical Nurse Duties

-Develop knowledge of and adherence to hospital policies and procedures
-Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

– Monitor patient vital signs, observe patient’s condition, administer medications, and assist in preparation of the patient for procedures
– Administer medications as prescribed by physician
– Assist the physician in surgery
– Monitor recovery after patient’s surgery
– Administer medications as prescribed by physician

-Perform delegated duties of surgeon, anesthesiologist, and other medical staff
-Collaborate with surgical and administrative staff to develop efficient processes and systems
-Monitor workload and staffing requirements, and prioritize tasks

Requirment And Skills

– current RN license in the State of Missouri
-2+ years’ of surgical experience
-Excellent communication skills
-Excellent organization, time management, and multi-tasking skills
-Ability to perform under stressful situations
-Ability to lift 50 pounds
