A teacher is a person who instructs others or who is instructed by others.

A teacher’s responsibilities include teaching, training, and counseling students.

Teachers must have strong interpersonal skills, as well as the knowledge, skills, and desire to pass their knowledge and skills on to others through instruction.

Teachers also serve as role models for students.

They are expected to exhibit high standards of conduct both inside and outside of the classroom.

Job Brief:

We're looking for Teacher to lead our English classes next semester.

Teacher Duties:

  • Establish effective classroom management skills
  • Work closely with school administrators, teachers, and staff members to effectively plan, organize, and implement student activities and education
  • Develop and implement instructional activities that align with state/national standards
  • Develop and implement assessment strategies that fully inform teachers about students' progress
  • Identify students' individual learning styles and continually evaluate student progress
  • Design effective curricula that incorporate inquiry, problem solving, and critical thinking
  • Create and implement effective teaching strategies
  • Evaluate students' progress and performance against established goals and standards
  • Provide job-related feedback to team members
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Experience in a K-12 school setting
  • Strong working knowledge of curriculum development
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
  • Awareness of state and federal mandates regarding education
