A technical lead is someone who has mastered one or more technical skills of software development.

The individual is responsible for leading a team of software developers, usually one to three people.

The individual and team are responsible for building products and features, and resolving technical issues and issues within the team.

The technical lead manages the software development process, including defining goals and deadlines, ensuring the development team has the appropriate resources to meet those goals, and managing everything from the conception of the product through the final deployment.

Job Brief:

We're looking for a Technical Lead who can provide direction and guidance to a team of engineers while also being hands-on and involved in the development process. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and a track record of successful project delivery.

Technical Lead Duties:

  • Provide technical direction to staff
  • Conduct regular reviews to determine staff competency and staff satisfaction
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations
  • Identify opportunities for employees to advance within the organization
  • Provide staff with ongoing coaching and feedback

Technical Lead Responsibilities:

  • Support account management, lead sales activities, and provide technical guidance and technical expertise to potential customers
  • Manage customer services, resolve support issues, and escalate to senior management as needed
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, business partners, and other stakeholders, with a focus on delivering an exceptional user experience
  • Plan and manage product roadmaps and roadmap-related projects
  • Develop and maintain relationships with business partners and stakeholders
  • Provide and maintain cutting-edge technical expertise, including product vision, technical strategy, project management, and integration
  • Provide analytical and conceptual support, including technical deep dives, problem scoping, and solution development
  • Conduct technical product demos to prospective customers and business partners
  • Develop and maintain documentation and internal standard operating procedures
  • Provide support, training, and consultation to internal teams
