Job Brief:

We're looking for a Technical Specialist who can help us with our project. We need someone who is an expert in the field and can help us to achieve our goals.

Technical Specialist Duties:

  • Plan and coordinate all aspects of technical operations for print, video, and audio productions
  • Develop strategies for cost-effective project management
  • Track project costs and deadlines
  • Promote a transparent work environment to foster collaborative teamwork
  • Ensure all projects adhere to legal regulations, building and safety codes, and various industry standards
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops
  • Assist management in evaluating current technical operations systems and implementing improved procedures/practices
  • Engage in professional discussions with members of other teams

Technical Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing technical issues and faults, and resolving them through understanding root cause and issue escalation to appropriate personnel
  • Consult with all levels of personnel on technical issues, including configuration, installation, and testing of hardware, operating software, and network systems
  • Review and test hardware, software, and associated devices for compatibility, performance, and security
  • Create and manage documentation, including hardware, software, programming, and procedural manuals
  • Provide reliable and efficient maintenance, repair, and service of hardware and software systems, including resolving hardware and software failures
  • Perform planned and unexpected preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance work
  • Provide after-hours and emergency support
