We are looking for a Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Technician to join our team. The TMS Technician will be responsible for providing support to our clinical team and patients during TMS treatment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and be able to work well under pressure. Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Technician Duties:

  • Operate and calibrate TMS equipment
  • Conduct patient examinations and perform procedures in an accurate, competent, and timely manner
  • Prepare written reports, correspondence, charts, and records
  • Adjust patient positioning for comfort and safety and administer medication
  • Assist with the maintenance of equipment and supplies

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Technician Responsibilities:

  • Performs pre- and post-surgical and diagnostic TMS procedures on patients under the supervision of neurosurgeons and neurologists
  • Pre-operatively: Provides patient information, performs patient screening and assessment, and prepares patient for TMS procedures
  • Post-operatively: Performs post-operative assessment and documentation
  • Certification or completion of an approved training program in clinical neurophysiology, electroencephalography, or magnetic resonance imaging preferred

Requirements And Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university as well as 2 years’ of direct patient care/practice and/or 1 years’ of direct patient care/practice in radiation sciences
  • Clinical or technical experience with the use of electromagnets
  • Demonstrated ability to solve mathematical problems
