Job Brief:

We’re looking for a Transport Administrator to manage our fleet of vehicles and ensure that our drivers are compliant with all transport regulations.

Transport Administrator Duties:

  • Review transport routes to maximize efficiency, improve effectiveness, and reduce operational costs
  • Develop and maintain operational procedures that comply with agency policies, rules and regulations
  • Maintain and update databases and other required materials to track all cargo shipments
  • Monitor transport equipment and vehicles to ensure maximum safety, dependability, and efficiency
  • Develop and implement policies to promote positive employee relations
  • Develop and maintain emergency response procedures
  • Advise on, implement, and manage vehicle maintenance programs
  • Coordinate with engineers, police, and other government authorities to confront issues as they arise

Transport Administrator Responsibilities:

  • At least 3+ years’ experience in an administrative role with knowledge of all facets of shipping, freight forwarding, and supply chain management
  • Strong attention to detail
