Job Brief:

We're looking for a Travel Agent to join our team. As a Travel Agent, you will be responsible for booking travel for our clients and helping them plan their dream vacations. If you have a passion for travel and a desire to help others, then we want to hear from you!

Travel Agent Duties:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with travel agents, suppliers, and industry partners
  • Identify and propose travel related products and services to clients
  • Conduct product and market research
  • Follow up with the agents, suppliers, and partners who contacted the client

Travel Agent Responsibilities:

  • Design itineraries based on customer needs, including air and ground transportation, hotel accommodations, event tickets, and tour packages
  • Contact travelers to confirm reservations and troubleshoot travel problems
  • Provide superior customer service to customers and applicants
  • Attend training and educational sessions to stay up to date with current travel trends, industry regulations, and new technologies
  • Provide information to customers regarding policies and procedures, itinerary, and status of travel requests
  • Maintain and update database and computer records of flight, hotel, and car reservations
  • Monitor airline's on-time performance, verify air carrier contracts for competitive pricing, and ensure proper processing of payments for services
  • Assist customers in preparing travel documents
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction
  • Provide support to other teams as needed
