We’re looking for a Travel Consultant to come on board and help us plan amazing trips for our clients. You’ll be responsible for finding the best deals on flights, hotels, and activities, and putting together amazing itineraries that will leave our clients with amazing memories. Travel Consultant Duties:

  • Provide travel services to existing and potential clients, ensuring travel needs are met and exceeding expectations
  • Assist clients in selecting travel itineraries that fit their budget, needs, and preferences
  • Assist with ticketing, routing, and documentation
  • Procure and process documentation, invoices, and payments
  • Track staff performance and status
  • Perform analysis and develop reports on client expenses and revenue
  • Develop and maintain a positive image for clients, staff, and company
  • Manage travel arrangements for company employees

Travel Consultant Responsibilities:

  • Assist with travel sourcing, negotiate travel contracts, and plan travel itineraries
  • Act as liaison with the corporate travel department, corporate accounting office, and travel agency
  • Develop internal processes to manage electronic expense reports
  • Review, edit, and publish corporate policy documents, including travel policy, gift acceptance policy, and code of conduct
  • Assist with travel-related marketing efforts

Requirements And Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in travel or tourism-related field
  • 2+ years’ proven experience at a travel agency
  • Knowledge of hotel, resort, and airline industry, preferred
  • Ability to develop, implement, and maintain marketing plans
  • Strong communication skills
