Validation Engineer Job Description

A validation engineer is a person who validates the tested functionality.

The validation engineer tests the functionality to ensure that it meets the customer’s requirements.

The validation engineer is a person who is not part of the development team.

This avoids possible conflicts where the development team must address requirements that were not originally tested by the validation engineer.

The validation engineer tests the functionality of a product, system, or service.

The purpose of validation is to ensure that the product, system, or service is functional according to a customer’s requirements.

The validation engineer tests this by interviewing the customer and determining their requirements.
