Job Brief:

We’re looking for a Vascular Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a hospital or clinic setting and be able to provide excellent patient care. If you are a motivated individual with a passion for helping others, we want to hear from you!

Vascular Technologist Duties:

  • Perform vascular studies such as ultrasound, arteriography, and duplex scanning
  • Perform ultrasound exams of vessels for diagnosis of vascular abnormalities
  • Conduct and interpret tests as assigned
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Determine vascular abnormalities and report findings
  • Surgical technologists have medical training and also certified to perform a variety of invasive and non-invasive procedures. The field requires both medical knowledge and technical skills.

Vascular Technologist Responsibilities:

  • Provide vascular diagnostic imaging services, including angiography and peripheral angioplasty
  • Performs diagnostic imaging with complete knowledge of all MRI and CT scanning procedures
  • Performs all maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and other duties as assigned
  • Assist with patient scheduling, check-in, check-out, and fill out necessary paperwork
  • Document all procedures performed
  • Performs basic clinical laboratory processes, including blood gas, hematology, urinalysis, and coagulation analysis
  • Performs basic patient monitoring, including ECGs and EKGs
  • Prepares specimens for transport
  • Maintains basic inventory and cleanliness of vehicles and facility
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements And Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science, clinical laboratory science, or related field
  • 2+ years’ proven experience as a technologist or assistant technologist in a clinical laboratory setting
  • Knowledge of laboratory instrumentation and procedures
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy/physiology
