The VP of Engineering is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating operational activities related to the engineering function.

This individual is responsible for the day-to-day management and operation of the engineering function and for ensuring that engineering objectives are achieved in accordance with company policies and industry best practices.

  • Manage the engineering team, including hiring / maintaining top engineers and developers, delegating assignments, and motivating employees
  • Work with R&D to develop innovative new products and resolve technical quality issues
  • Research new technologies that would benefit the company
  • Inspire others with your expertise
  • Provide input into strategic direction of the company and products
  • Provide input on new product development roadmap
  • Establish and maintain client and industry relationships
  • Research and identify new market opportunities
