Job Brief:

We’re looking for an experienced Wealth Manager to join our team and help us grow our business. You will be responsible for providing financial planning and investment advice to our clients, as well as developing and implementing wealth management strategies. If you have a strong track record in wealth management and are looking for an exciting new challenge, we want to hear from you.

Wealth Manager Duties:

  • Build and manage relationships, identify, and cultivate potential leads
  • Develop, implement, and manage a marketing and lead generation strategy
  • Provide objective and candid feedback to staff regarding performance
  • Develop a thorough understanding of client’s financial needs, goals, and expectations, and match resources to their specific needs
  • Provide clients with a comprehensive wealth management plan of action
  • Develop and implement plans that maximize long term growth and cash flows in the portfolio
  • Meet with clients on an ongoing basis to update them on portfolio performance
  • Meet with clients as needed to discuss financial matters, review their portfolio, and address other concerns
  • Negotiate with clients on investment and insurance matters
  • Maintain and update client files

Wealth Manager Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial plans to meet investment objectives and client goals, including asset allocation and diversification, portfolio analysis, product selection, and performance monitoring
  • Identifie client needs and objectives, and suggest suitable investment options, products, and services to satisfy them
  • Develop and implement investment policies and procedures
  • Monitor client accounts regularly, and advise client on tax, legal, and insurance matters
  • Research and suggest investment ideas and products
  • Coordinate investment activities with other investment professionals, such as analysts and portfolio managers
  • Oversee operations of a branch office
  • Maintain client records, and document all client transactions
  • Liaise with clients to resolve investment disputes
  • Develop, implement, and maintain internal operations, including policies, procedures, standards, guidelines, training programs, and cultural values
  • Liaise with external counterparties

Requirements And Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in finance, accounting, management, business, or related field
  • 1-2 years relevant experience
