  • Prepare Requests for Information (RFIs).
  • Automate tasks when possible to save time and costs.
  • Track and manage all aspects of the contract process.
  • Track and manage all project documents.
  • Maintain accurate records for the contract process.
  • Establish and manage relationships with vendors, designers, and contractors.
  • Assist with contract administration.
  • Document lessons learned for future contracts.

Contract Administrator Responsibilities:

  • Analyze contract risks and assess contract documentation to establish project performance.
  • Perform audits of contracts; review documentation, including invoices, statement, and purchase orders, to verify adherence to contract terms.
  • Track and report on KPIs.
  • Review contract terminations for legal compliance and proper termination procedures.
  • Research, prepare, and complete reports and correspondence, such as proposal documents, project status reports, and contract change requests, as requested.
  • Create and revise procurement documentation to prepare and submit requests for proposals (RFPs).
  • Research and negotiate contracts.
  • Perform financial analysis and prepare reports.

Requirements And Skills:

  • Proven experience in a contracting administration role.
  • 2+ years’ proven experience in the field.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and writing skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of construction practices, industry regulations, and contract management processes.
  • Excellent time management skills.
