Job Brief:

We’re looking for Machinist to work with us on a long-term basis. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining our machines, as well as troubleshooting any issues that may arise. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, and the opportunity to learn and grow with our company.

Machinist Duties:

  • Maintain, repair, and upgrade equipment to meet production goals
  • Maintain records of all repairs and upgrades made
  • Monitor and analyze machine operations in order to optimize performance
  • Perform preventative maintenance
  • Provide technical support to production workers
  • Troubleshoot equipment problems
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and materials

Machinist Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machines, and ensure all safety and quality standards are met
  • Operate a variety of machines, including drill presses, lathes, mills, and grinding machines
  • Conduct pre-operation tests, repair and replace parts and components, and perform preventative and corrective maintenance as needed
  • Assist shop supervisor with material management and inventory control, and supervise all equipment operation
  • Maintain a clean shop environment

Requirements And Skills:

  • Journeyman Machinist Certification
  • 2+ years’ proven experience in a machinist role
  • Knowledge of general machine shop operations, including operating machinery, including lathes, mills, and grinders
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Ability to establish and maintain
