Executive Director Duties:

Executive Director Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of managing the organization, including hiring and retaining capable employees, developing long-term and short-term strategies, scheduling, developing budgets, and meeting other financial and operational goals and objectives.
  • Maintain relationships with elected officials and community leaders.
  • Conduct periodic performance reviews of staff.
  • Develop and implement short- and long-term business plans, including hiring, strategic planning, and market expansion.
  • Work closely with board chairs, trustees, and staff to develop and implement policies, procedures, and strategies to pursue funding opportunities and community partnerships.
  • Represent the organization at various public forums, hearings, meetings, and conferences.
  • Maintain an active presence on social media.
  • Coordinate with representatives of the organization in the community.
  • Manage the facilities, assets, and stakeholders; and oversee and oversee facility improvements, facility expansion, capital improvement planning, and risk management.
