Job Brief:

We’re looking for a Mechatronics Engineer to work with us on a new project. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical and electrical engineering, as well as a strong understanding of computer science and programming. Mechatronics Engineer Duties:

• Design and fabricate electromechanical and robotic systems
• Develop mechanical and electromechanical prototypes
• Assist in designing and developing advanced test equipment for sensing systems
• Perform design calculations for systems
• Conduct research, analysis, and studies
• Write and submit reports
• Understand mechanical and electromechanical principles and their application
• Working knowledge of electronic circuits
• Knowledge of sensors and actuators
• Knowledge of computer hardware and software design and applications
• Knowledge of automated control systems
• Knowledge of test equipment procedures and test methodologies
• Knowledge of electrical and electronic systems
• Familiar with CAD and drafting software-Knowledge of CAD/CAM and CNC equipment
• Knowledge of sensors, actuators, and signal processing
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly, effectively, and concisely

Mechatronics Engineer Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and troubleshoot automated controls systems
• Design and manufacturer custom control systems used in manufacturing, delivery, and manufacturing processes
• Develop schematics, logic diagrams, and other control diagrams
• Develop, test, and trouble-shoot PLC/SCADA systems
• Design and manufacture custom electro-mechanical components
• Design and manufacture custom industrial cabling, wiring, and wiring devices
• Develop and maintain engineering drawings
• Perform other duties, as assigned

Requirements And Skills:

• Bachelor’s in Mechatronics Engineering
• Experience in electronic or mechanical design
• Experience in automated test equipment
• Experience in embedded system design/programming
• Experience in robotic automation
• Experience in integrated test systems
• Experience in mechanical
