Job Brief:

We’re looking for experienced Research Consultants to work with us on a variety of research projects. As a Research Consultant, you will be responsible for conducting research, analyzing data, and writing reports. Research Consultant Duties:

  • Review and analyze requests from project owners regarding the construction of various residences, apartments, condos, and retail locations
  • Provide preliminary analysis of proposed projects, including work scope, estimated cost, and scheduling
  • Research different market data, including economic and demographic trends
  • Analyze local housing market, including pricing of comparable properties
  • Research the zoning of proposed properties
  • Research possible sources of financing for proposed projects
  • Proactively look for new market opportunities
  • Procure and document cost estimates for proposed projects
  • Review and recommend design and construction materials that align with project goals
  • Manage and oversee contract administration, which includes subcontracting, project scheduling, and project cost controls

Research Consultant Responsibilities:

  • Perform basic and applied research on relevant topics
  • Teach and train clients on relevant topics
  • Investigate client issues and concerns, and provide feedback to client representatives
  • Assist clients in resolving issues or concerns
  • Assist in the creation of client presentations and proposals
