The Vice President of Sales, or VP Sales, is one of the highest-ranking executives in a company’s sales department.

The VP Sales is tasked with hiring, training, and managing sales staff as well as monitoring sales staff’s activity and performance.

The VP Sales also heads the sales department’s compensation department, which determines how sales staff are paid for their sales efforts.

As our Vice President of Sales, you will be responsible for leading our sales team and developing new business opportunities. Vice President of Sales Duties:

  • Develop, implement, and oversee revenue generating sales strategies
  • Develop, maintain, and improve relationships with prospective clients
  • Oversee and direct sales personnel in the execution of sales strategies
  • Meet with clients on a regular basis to review projects, discuss strategies, and negotiate contracts
  • Conduct on-site evaluations and prepare proposals
  • Coordinate client meetings and presentation
