Job Brief:

We’re looking for a Warehouse Operator who is able to safely and efficiently operate machinery in our warehouse. The ideal candidate will have prior experience operating warehouse machinery and will be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Warehouse Operator Duties:

  • Maintain a high level of productivity, efficiency, and safety in warehouse operations to ensure maximum profitability and customer satisfaction
  • Perform all duties associated with warehouse operations
  • Incorporate hazmat, OSHA, and other regulations into the daily functions of the warehouse
  • Establish and maintain strong and positive working relationships with co-workers and managers
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols
  • Manage inventory levels
  • Proactively identify, mitigate, and track recurring warehouse issues
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness
  • Maintain strict inventory control

Warehouse Operator Responsibilities:

  • Ship, receive, and store inbound materials prior to dispatch to production, load outbound shipments on tractor-trailer trucks, and unload trucks and pallets at distribution centers
  • Operate forklifts, stack pallets, and flatbed trucks
  • Sort and inspect all materials for quality, and process materials and inventory for shipment
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area, and file certificates of insurance for insurance and worker’s compensation
  • Perform other warehouse duties as required

Requirements And Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or related field
  • 2+ years’ proven experience operating a forklift and other warehouse equipment
  • Knowledge of warehouse organization, and the importance of process improvement
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
