Job Brief:

We’re looking for a Clinical Technician to join our team! As a Clinical Technician, you will be responsible for providing support to our clinical staff and patients. You will be responsible for scheduling appointments, taking patient medical histories, and performing basic laboratory tests. Clinical Technician Duties:

  • Listen carefully to patient’s complaints and concerns

Clinical Technician Responsibilities:

  • Perform various operations related to patient care, including patient positioning, catheterizations, and fluid administration, as instructed by a registered nurse
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards, and health and safety regulations
  • Perform basic lab functions to include specimen collection, preparation, and identification
  • Perform nonclinical administrative duties, such as maintaining records, making appointments, and answering telephones
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements And Skills:

  • Current Florida license to practice as a medical technologist
  • 3+ years of experience in a laboratory setting
  • Good knowledge of clinical laboratory procedures and standards; ability to interpret laboratory test results
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
