We’re looking for an experienced Physician Recruiter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and evaluating physician candidates for our organization. Physician Recruiter Duties:

  • Build and maintain relationships with healthcare clinics and hospitals
  • Create and maintain relationships with medical and allied professionals in the healthcare field
  • Lead and oversee all recruiting activities
  • Perform various functions related to the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of physicians and allied professionals
  • Screen candidates using the company’s medical recruitment tools

Physician Recruiter Responsibilities:

  • Identify, interview, recruit, and place physicians in outpatient primary care and hospital-based practice settings
  • Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, hospitals, and clinical facilities
  • Utilize clinical expertise to source physicians with clinical and practice management experience, including specialization in family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, or obstetrics
  • Look for opportunities to enhance the physician recruitment and placement process, including developing new physician recruitment strategies and identifying ways to improve workflow, staff productivity, and online sales and recruiting efforts
  • Act as liaison between physicians and other clinical staff
  • Conduct due diligence and background screening
  • Follow up with candidates after placement
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and HR policies and procedures
  • Ensure work assignments are completed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Determine and communicate candidate compensation offers
  • Provide counsel to physicians on careers, compensation, and compensation negotiations

Requirements And Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, medicine, or other related field
  • 2-5 years of prior healthcare recruiting experience
  • Demonstrated ability to create and maintain relationships with physician candidates
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate and cultivate relationships with physician candidates
  • Knowledge of healthcare
