A fundraiser is a fundraising event that is put on by an organization.

Job Brief:

We’re looking for a Fundraiser to help us raise money for our upcoming project.

Fundraiser Duties:

• Develop and oversee the implementation of fundraising plans, campaigns, and strategies
• Create and implement comprehensive fundraising plans for the organization
• Develop fundraising plans
• Develop and implement plans to increase donations, memberships, and sponsorships
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with corporate and other key donors
• Develop and deliver presentations on fundraising goals
• Follow training manuals and guidelines
• Create and maintain relationships with major donors
• Provide general direction to other fundraisers
• Develop and implement a donor database
• Advise management on fundraising issues

Fundraiser Responsibilities:

• Develop fundraising plans to support business development initiatives
• Develops/executes strategic fundraising plans to meet company goals and mission objectives
• Develops, implements, and evaluates fundraising programs to execute company strategic plans
• Develops, implements, and evaluates fundraising initiatives to effectively raise company revenue goals
• Develops, implements, and evaluates fundraising reports to measure fundraising effectiveness
• Develops, implements, and evaluates fundraising strategies to support program

Requirements And Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
• 3+ years’ fundraising experience at a senior level
• Creative thinker with proven fundraising track record
• Solid relationship-building skills and the ability to persuade
• Knowledge of fundraising best practices, events, and organizations
