An Inbound Marketing Manager (IMM) is a person who plans the strategy and tactics for a business’s inbound marketing efforts.

The IMM’s job is to understand what the business’s customers are looking for, and then create content, tell stories, position the brand, and generate leads.

The IMM’s job is to create questions that customers may be asking.

First, the IMM will interview the business’s employees to better understand who the business’s customers actually are.

Job Brief:

We’re looking for an Inbound Marketing Manager to join our team! As our Inbound Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and measuring our inbound marketing campaigns across all channels. You will work closely with our marketing team to create and execute campaigns that drive traffic, generate leads, and convert customers. Inbound Marketing Manager Duties:

  • Oversee creation and implementation of marketing campaigns through social media, email marketing, and SEO techniques
  • Create and maintain social media content, including blog posts, videos, infographics, etc.
  • Coordinate with regional managers on lead generation, developing branding materials, writing thought leadership articles, etc.
  • Design and oversee use of database management programs
  • Coordinate with external vendors for content development, video creation, design, etc.
  • Manage and promote content to target audiences

Inbound Marketing Manager Responsibilities:

  • Plan, create, and implement national advertising campaigns to drive new business opportunities, and manage digital marketing campaigns in support of these goals
  • Create and maintain digital marketing campaigns from conception to implementation
  • Conduct market research and competitor research, and develop marketing strategies based on these findings
  • Develop and maintain relationships with potential customers and partners, and actively participate in industry events and conferences
  • Work directly with clients to maintain and expand existing relationships and develop new business opportunities
  • Work closely with other members of the marketing team on successful campaigns
  • Manage the freelance positions on the team while recruiting and onboarding a team of people, ensuring all team members are trained and have access to the necessary resources
  • Manage the social media team to ensure content is produced and shared in a timely manner
  • Develop and manage the company website and other digital properties
  • Analyze data to measure marketing campaigns and identify trends
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with key partners for ongoing business and career opportunities

Requirements And Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
  • 3+ years of experience managing all aspects of an inbound marketing strategy
  • Strong knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) and content marketing
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or a similar analytics tool
  • Experience in building and executing an inbound marketing
