We’re looking for a Merchandise Associate to help us keep our store stocked with the latest products and to help our customers find the items they need. The ideal candidate will be organized and detail-oriented, with a strong knowledge of the latest trends in fashion and home décor. Merchandise Associate Duties:

  • Work with store team to implement day to day operations, including developing sales goals, merchandising standards, and inventory control for all departments in the retail store
  • Work with marketing company to develop and execute seasonal campaigns
  • Play an active role in leading and motivating store staff
  • Understand, predict, and plan sales and inventory trends
  • Oversee the receipt, storage, and removal of merchandise

Merchandise Associate Responsibilities:

  • Assume ownership for products assigned, ensuring product availability, pricing, merchandising, and achieving sales goals
  • Maintain high standards of customer service with internal and external customers
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide product support
  • Prepare weekly sales summaries to present to management
  • Provide feedback to management regarding customer service, product availability, and warehouse productivity

Requirements And Skills:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience in retail or customer service preferred
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry up to 25 lbs.
