Nutrition Educator Duties:

• Work with health & safety team to develop promotional and educational content materials
• Develop and maintain relationships with corporate representatives, vendors, and clients
• Evaluate how current programs can be improved, refined, and supplemented
• Research and identify new and existing vendors of nutritional products
• Evaluate new nutritional products, and determine their impact on health and nutrition
• Develop new educational content, including brochures, newsletters, and other informational materials
• Create, maintain, and distribute promotional materials
• Maintain records of all educational meetings and events
• Develop new educational content
• Develop and maintain relationships with corporate representatives, vendors, and clients
• Evaluate how current programs can be improved, refined, and supplemented
• Research and identify new and existing vendors of nutritional products
• Evaluate new nutritional products, and determine their impact on health and nutrition
• Develop new educational content, including brochures

Nutrition Educator Responsibilities:

• Perform diverse duties essential to the development and delivery of nutrition services, including meeting individually with clients, facilitating group classes, conducting food demonstrations, and preparing and serving meals
• Lead the community in efforts to increase awareness of nutrition-related issues
• Engage with community partners and stakeholders to create a more diverse and healthy food environment
• Develop healthy menu selections, and plan, organize, lead, and moderate nutrition education programs
• Promote healthy lifestyles and habits to community members
• Maintain compliance with customer privacy and confidentiality rules
• Perform other duties as needed and/or assigned

Requirements And Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition/dietetics required
• 2+ years’ progressive experience in a healthcare, nutrition, or medical setting
• Strong knowledge of nutrition and dietetics
• Knowledge of nutrition and dietetics research and practice
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients,
