Job Brief:

We’re looking for a Retail Banker to join our team! As a Retail Banker, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our clients. You will be responsible for handling transactions, opening new accounts, and providing guidance to our clients on financial products and services. Retail Banker Duties:

  • Provide a full range of retail banking services to all customers, including new accounts, withdrawals, deposits, cashing checks, and bill payment
  • Provide support to customers regarding banking services
  • Maintain accurate records and files of all transactions and correspondence
  • Identify and document customer concerns and implement solutions
  • Perform related work as required

Retail Banker Responsibilities:

  • Work with clients on all aspects of their banking needs, including opening new accounts, issuing loans, processing credit card applications, cross-selling, and loan renewals
  • Present and sell the client’s products and services, and serve as a liaison between the client and the bank
  • Research and locate business opportunities by analyzing credit, collateral, current income, and expenses, as well as competitor’s strengths and weaknesses
  • Optimize return on assets, loan portfolio, and deposits through prudent underwriting and monitoring of credit, cash, liquidity, and collateral
  • Knowledge of financial services industry preferred
  • Ability to plan, coordinate, and deliver client service activities within a team environment

  • 2+ years experience in retail banking and commercial lending
