We’re looking for an experienced SQL Server DBA to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience administering and troubleshooting SQL Server databases in a production environment.

SQL Server DBA Duties:

  • Ensure smooth and efficient operation of a database system
  • Generally, responsibility for upkeep, support, maintenance, and upgrading of database
  • Proactively manage databases and database systems to ensure maximum availability with minimal downtime
  • Monitor and supervise all databases to ensure they are performing efficiently and within the established parameters
  • Establish and maintain system backups, daily and weekly

  • Provide recommendations to management on database technology adoption, including systems management, licensing, security, and performance

Requirements And Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience supporting SQL Server
  • Knowledge of SQL Server design, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of database design concepts
  • Knowledge of T-SQL, stored procedures, and functions
