We’re looking for Public Relations to help us connect with our target audience, promote our brand, and build relationships with key influencers.

Public Relations Specialist Duties:

  • Provide public relations support by planning and implementing public relations programs, including strategic communications and outreach
  • Develop marketing materials for public relations programs
  • Develops media pitches, press releases, and talking points
  • Develop social media guidelines and policies
  • Monitor public reaction to company events
  • Coordinate with marketing/advertising agencies on public relations for marketing campaigns

Public Relations Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Act as medium of communication between company, staff, and customers
  • Create/manage social media platforms to promote company’s events, products, and services and to attract new audiences
  • Research and analyze social media metrics, and respond accordingly
  • Further promote the company’s public image through media outlets, such as TV, radio, and newspapers, and online media
  • Write articles, press releases, and newsletters
  • Represent company at community, charity, and social events
  • Develop and maintain relationships with current and prospective contractors and clients
  • Research, evaluate, and report to the board of directors on potential business opportunities
  • Preparation for investor presentations

Requirements And Skills:

  • 2+ years experience in public relations, marketing, or advertising
  • Knowledge of media application process, purchasing, and production
  • Knowledge of graphic design and layout
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Ability to understand marketing strategy
