A boilermaker is a person who works in construction or manufacturing.

We’re looking for a Boilermaker who is skilled in welding and fabricating to work on a variety of projects. The ideal candidate will have experience working with both steel and aluminum, and be able to read and interpret blueprints. Boilermaker Duties:

  • Perform welding, fabrication, and other industrial trades jobs
  • Develop, implement, and maintain industrial safety standards
  • Perform machinery maintenance, repair, and installation
  • Ensure all chemical testing procedures are performed
  • Research, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery
  • Prioritize work based on company needs

Boilermaker Responsibilities:

  • Clean pressure vessel equipment
  • Inspect equipment for proper functioning
  • Install refractory bricks and other heat-resistant materials in fireboxes of pressure vessels.
  • Lay out plate, sheet steel, or other heavy metal, and locate and mark bending and cutting lines, using protractors, compasses, and drawing instruments or templates.
  • Locate and mark reference points for columns or plates on boiler foundations, following blueprints and using straightedges, squares, transits, and measuring instruments.
  • Maintain the boilers, pressure vessels, piping, and related systems on vessels and onshore facilities

Requirements And Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years’ proven experience in boilermaker’s trade
  • Proven ability to solve problems and prioritize tasks
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and negotiation skills
  • Ability to handle high-stress situations with tact and poise
