Metal Fabricator Duties:

Metal Fabricator Responsibilities:

  • 5+ years of work experience as a metal fabricator
  • Ability to cut, shape, and form metal
  • Strong knowledge of metal working tools, materials, and processes
  • Knowledge of welding processes (gas and arc)
  • knowledge and ability to use shop equipment

Requirements And Skills:

  • Design, fabricate, assemble, and install all project components, including railings, glass railings, and fences
  • Use both hand and power tools to fabricate, repair, and install parts, including welding, grinding, drilling, and cutting
  • Prepare detailed shop drawings and specifications, and produce finished products to meet company standards
  • Create and install architectural hardware, including gates, hinges, locks, and sensors
  • Operate machinery, including table saws and welders
  • Use computer numerical control (CNC) equipment to improve accuracy and efficiency
