A medical copywriter is an individual who writes advertising or promotional copy that is geared towards healthcare professionals.

We’re looking for a Medical Copywriter who can help us create engaging and compelling copy for our medical website. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the medical industry and be able to translate complex medical jargon into easily understandable language. Medical Copywriter Duties:

  • Research, draft, and edit white papers, case studies, and other documents pertaining to a variety of health care topics
  • Write news articles, newsletters, and promotional materials
  • Research and update courses and trainings
  • Decide what information is required and format accordingly
  • Optimize content
  • Research, analyze, and summarize statistics
  • Manage and track all activities and deadlines
  • Cash flow projections, etc.

Medical Copywriter Responsibilities:

  • Develop creative content that promotes medical practices and procedures
  • Write and edit content, including brochures, websites, articles, newsletters, blog posts, videos, and scripts for media interviews
  • Design graphics for printed materials and online ads
  • Maintain familiarity with medical terminology and hospital regulations

Requirements And Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English or journalism
  • 2+ years experience in medical writing
  • Proven experience with medical terms, anatomy and physiology
  • Ability to write clear, concise, and informative reports, articles, and documentation
  • Ability to edit and proof work
