Patient Representative Duties

-Recommend courses of treatment to patients and counsel them regarding their treatment options
-Maintain records, schedules, and office operations
-Perform administrative functions such as scheduling and reviewing patient records
-Investigate, record, and update patient demographics
-Provide patient education and counseling
-Perform office duties such as answering telephones, filing, and greeting guests
-Answer patient questions and resolve concerns

Patient Representative Responsibilities

-Manage the team’s daily operations, managing all tasks, handling all customer inquiries, and setting appointments, while completing goals
-Perform all administrative tasks, including scheduling, document management, and billing, while ensuring compliance and quality control
-Process patient payments and payments from insurance companies
-Create, update, and maintain patient profiles
-Review patient files to ensure compliance and completeness
-Support team members as needed
-Work with doctors, nurses, and other team members to ensure schedule adherence and timely delivery of medical services
-Oversee the delivery of quality patient care and administrative support

Requirment And Skills

-Bachelor’s degree in a related health field
3+ years of professional experience in patient care or patient advocacy
-Excellent communication skills with patients, families, visitors, and staff
-Excellent conflict management and negotiation skills
-Excellent working knowledge of medical terminology
