Job Brief:

We’re looking for an Architectural Designer to join our team. We’re looking for someone with experience in designing and drafting commercial, institutional, and residential buildings.

Architectural Designer Duties:

  • Develop graphic design concepts, produce renderings, and prepare presentations
  • Create presentations using a variety of visual media, such as 2D and 3D images and animations, interactive simulations, and virtual reality
  • Provide support to senior management, sales, and business development staff
  • Develop creative design solutions based on market research and customer needs
  • Support other architectural, engineering, and interior departments

Architectural Designer Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement architectural drawings and specifications
  • Work with architects and engineers to conceptualize, design, and develop residential and commercial projects
  • Produce complete and accurate drawings, including layouts, plans, elevations, sections, details, and schedules
  • Oversee and approve shop drawings
  • Work with contractors to price, schedule, and bid jobs
  • Develop cost estimates and budgets
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Keep current with trends, codes, and standards
  • Communicate with team members and clients
  • Promote, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with clients and team members

Requirements And Skills:

  • 5+ years work experience in an architectural design role
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite
  • Knowledge of building codes, sustainable design, and interior design
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a constant eye on quality
