Job Brief:

We’re looking for a Network Analyst to work with us on a long-term basis. We need someone who is experienced in network administration and can help us troubleshoot any issues that we may have.

Network Analyst Duties:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain computer networking infrastructure
  • Design, configure, and maintain enterprise-wide data communications, including servers, desktops, and mobile devices
  • Maintain daily network operations for both internal and external users
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for security, backup, and disaster recovery
  • Ensure safe, efficient, and effective use of IT infrastructure
  • Develop policies for duplication of IT functions

Network Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a high level of technical knowledge of complex systems, including network, servers, and workstations
  • Support network administrators and engineers with troubleshooting and configuration
  • Perform software installs, updates, and patches to comply with enterprise standards and assist with software related issues
  • Implement, maintain, and support network and security systems, including firewalls, routers, switches, and access points
  • Design, implement, and troubleshoot VPN and remote access solutions
  • Conduct network capacity planning to ensure optimal network performance, including capacity planning, sizing, and forecasting
  • Monitor, maintain, and repair network devices, servers, and workstations
  • Maintain and monitor network services, including DHCP, DNS, and WINS
  • Manage the Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and WINS infrastructure
  • Design, maintain, and support backup and restore processes and procedures

Requirements And Skills:

  • -Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other related technical field
  • 3+ years experience as a network analyst, systems analyst, or IT manager
  • -Knowledge of Windows network operating systems, protocols, and procedures
  • -Expertise in developing and maintaining network documentation
