Job Brief:

We’re looking for a Physician Assistant to join our team and help us provide patients with the best possible care. As a Physician Assistant, you will be responsible for examining patients, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing treatment plans. You will also play a key role in educating patients about their health and providing them with support and advice. Physician Assistant Duties:

  • Provide examination, evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions.
  • Understand, interpret and apply medical diagnostic and physical examination data, diagnostic test results, medication dosage, and treatment plans.
  • -Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • Visits with patients.
  • Documents patient’s condition in patient record.
  • Performs medical laboratory tests.
  • Performs administrative duties such as vaccinations, physical examinations, and wound care.

Physician Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical and administrative support to medical physicians, including wellness exams, clinical procedures, and diagnosis.
  • Outsource complete administrative support including scheduling, billing, insurance authorization, and ordering.
  • Supervise patient check-ins and check-outs.
  • Perform administrative duties such as managing patient records.
  • Establish patient relationships by greeting patients, assessing their needs, and educating them on procedures.
  • Answer phone call inquiries regarding appointments, insurance information, and billing.
  • Assist in clerking clinic.

Requirements And Skills:

  • PA/BS degree required.
  • 1+ years of clinical PACU/ED experience.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Must be proficient with case management and documentation.
  • Must be proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Must be proficient with EMR.
