Job Brief:

Medical Equipment Preparer Duties:

  • Maintain inventory of the medical supplies and equipment within the hospital
  • Maintain daily records of supplies used and level of stock
  • Perform administrative data processing using electronic systems
  • Assist in the maintenance of various medical equipment
  • Handle inventory, such as cleaning, storing, and maintaining
  • Filling prescription medications

Medical Equipment Preparer Responsibilities:

  • Prepare medical equipment and equip patient rooms, in accordance with physician orders
  • Deliver, assemble, install, and stock medical equipment
  • Perform cleaning and maintenance on medical equipment
  • Complete record keeping and documentation of all deliveries, installations, and repairs
